When I heard that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet was invited to Amsterdam on 4 and 5 June 2009 I felt sad, sad for him. My thought was that we ought to instead make it possible for the Dalai Lama to visit Tibet, see his Potala Palace in Lhasa and especially his people. Why can we not bring him back to his country? Even after fifty years all our good intentions have not led to bringing His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan refugees to Tibet and change life for those who stayed. While looking at the underneath photos of the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Amsterdam in 1990, please make the strong wish to bring the Dalai Lama to Lhasa and alter the situarion for the Tibetans in Tibet. Percieve this as a mental schulpture to which you contribute with your strong determination for that wish.
