Tibet House Holland
is een ontmoetingsplaats voor zowel traditionele als hedendaagse Tibetaanse kunst en cultuur. Het verwelkomt de Tibetaanse, de Nederlandse en de internationale gemeenschap met als doel wederzijds begrip te bevorderen en te inspireren tot een dialoog die bijdraagt aan geluk en vrede.
Tibet House Holland ontwikkelt daartoe:
Een galerie voor Tibetaanse kunst en cultuur met ruimte voor kunst uit de hele Himalaya regio. Tentoonstellingen en kunsteducatie vinden er hun plek, ook op het gebied van muziek, theater en architectuur.
Er zal een lesruimte zijn voor Tibetaans taalonderwijs voor Tibetaanse kinderen in Nederland en andere geïnteresseerden, een faculteit voor wetenschappen, zoals literatuur, astrologie en ruimte voor maatschappelijke dialoog.
Een algemene Tibetaans Boeddhistische ruimte, voor onderricht vanuit alle Tibetaans boeddhistische scholen als basis voor een dialoog tussen verschillende levensovertuigingen.
Voor deze drie activiteiten zal een bibliotheek worden opgezet en een informatie- en documentatiecentrum.
In de Tibet House winkel vind je een bijzondere keuze van Tibetaanse kunst en handwerk, kleding, sieraden, papier en matrialen voor Tibetaans Boeddhistische lessen.
De Tibet House Tea Room biedt een fijne selectie thee met klein buffet. De Tea Room geeft bezoekers de gelegenheid elkaar in ontspannen sfeer te ontmoeten.

Tibet House Holland
Aims to become a center for the preservation of Tibetan art and culture. This will be a place where you will be able to see traditional and contemporary Tibetan art, culture and many Tibet related activities.
We welcome Tibetan, Dutch and other international communities to contribute to mutual understanding and to inspire a dialogue to create happiness and peace.
Tibet House Holland will pursue its vision and mission by creating:
A gallery for Tibetan art exhibitions (open to art from the entire Himalaya region) and art classes on Tibetan art and architecture with room for Tibetan music and Theatre.
A classroom for Tibetan culture and education, including Tibetan language, literature, astrology and medicine classes for Tibetans and others
A platform for social and political dialogue
Room for Tibetan religious teachings from all denominations and an interreligious dialogue
An open Tibetan library and a center for information and documentation
A shop with a fine collection of Tibetan arts and crafts, jewelry, stationery, books and objects for Tibetan Buddhist practices.
Tibet House Tea Room for tea and refreshments. The tea room will be a meeting place for Tibet House guests
