Workshop Tibetaanse mandala schilderen 28 augustus 2010 12.00-15.00 uur
(45,- euro) including materials and snacks!!

This workshop will be very special for us even to teach, We have decided to teach the traditional tibetan measurements of creating a Tibetan Buddhist Mandala that we make in the Tibetan Monestaries, becuase we have seen so many people in the west are creating the intuative mandalas, we find them very interesting, so free from tradition unlikes ours, We thought may be these artists might like to know how we create our traditional tibetan mandalas, so that you can use this This afternoon you can create a traditonal measured Tibetan Mandalas so that lot pf people could share our Tibetan cultural art.

What is Mandalas
The Tibetan mandala is a tool for gaining wisdom and compassion and generally is depicted as a tightly balanced, geometric composition wherein deities reside. The principal deity is housed in the center. The mandala serves as a tool for guiding individuals along the path to enlightenment. Monks meditate upon the mandala, imagining it as a three-dimensional palace. The deities who reside in the palace embody philosophical views and serve as role models. The mandala's purpose is to help transform ordinary minds into enlightened ones.
